Count Down
Well friends the GSQA quilt show is ony a day away. Can you believe it? It seems like we only started planning this show yesterday and here it is one day away. I have gotten an up close and personal look at the many entries and let me tell you they and unbelievable. That is one of the perks when you help with the judging. It is a real educational experience. Promise yourself that you you will volunteer to help wth this for the next show. There is so much you can learn from the experience. It will help you with your next quilt. I plan on putting some of those things into action and maybe I too can have an award winning quilt. Hope to see you at the show!

Can believe it has been 6 weeks since I last posted. It was good to see Angel and Fran M back with our group last month at Kathy's. Sorry I had to miss tonight's meeting but something I ate today didn't agree with me. The GSQA quilt show is just around the corner. I can't wait to see all the lovely quilts and visit with by quilting buddies. Hope all of you plan to attend. Please look me up. You'll recognize me as the one with the dazed look on her face. But honestly I wouldn't have had it an other way. GSQA is a wonderful group of talented people. I owe the organiztion more than I have ever gotten from it. Please mark your calendar fore the 18th,19th and 20th. See you in Slidell at the Northshore Harbor Center. Bonnie

Susan Cleveland captures GSQA audience's attention.
At the April 17,2010 Gukf States Quilting Association meeting in Mobile,AL quilt teacher, Susan Cleveland amuses the membership with her quick wit and shares her wonderful works as the audience looks on in amazement. Susan made several stops in the Gulf States area to teach workshops to those lucky enough to get a seat in her classes. Thanks to Cena Harmon for setting this up for our organization. A good time was had by all. See photos below.
